Casting Process:

~Peters Orthopedics works to provide functional, cosmetic, non-surgical digit prostheses to meet individual needs.

~Silicone prostheses are custom designed and fit to match an individual's unique amputation.

~Semi-soft silicone prosthetic digits are form fitting to the residual phalange and usually attached by suction. The prosthesis is designed to match appearance details including skin tone, nail bed shape, and identifying markings.

~ Two prostheses per finger amputation are recommended to offer 1.Alternate wearing options 2. Emergency back up

~Custom silicone gloves used by higher-level amputations for both body and external-powered upper extremity prostheses are also available
